If You Need Food, We Can Help

We are committed to alleviating hunger in Eastern North Carolina. If you or a loved one needs food, we can help. You can find answers to frequently asked questions below:

  • Our Pantry is open on Thursday afternoons between1-3 p.m. We distribute food 51 weeks of the year, closed only for Thanksgiving.

    Our Pantry is located at 413 East 4th Street Greenville, NC 27858.

  • New clients/guests will fill out a short intake form before going into the pantry to receive food. Clients will generally receive (inventory allowing) 2-3 bags of shelf stable foods, 1-2 bags of various proteins and fresh, seasonal produce when available.

  • We use a simple self reporting scale based on household size, income, current recipient of SNAP or other food assistance programs. No one who is hungry or in need is ever turned away!

  • You are eligible to come every week we are open (Thursdays from 1pm-3pm). We open 51 weeks of the year except Thanksgiving day.

  • We are happy to refer you to one of the many social services agencies located here in Pitt County for additional needs.
