If You Need Food, We Can Help

We are committed to helping alleviate hunger in Eastern North Carolina. If you or someone you know needs food, we are here for you. Below are answers to some frequently asked questions.

  • Our pantry is open Thursdays from 1–3 p.m. and distributes food 51 weeks each year, closing only on Thanksgiving.

    We are located at 413 East 4th Street, Greenville, NC 27858.

  • New guests will fill out a short intake form before entering the pantry. Depending on available inventory, guests typically receive 2–3 bags of shelf-stable foods, 1–2 bags of protein, and fresh seasonal produce when available.

  • We use a simple self-reporting form based on household size, income, and whether you currently receive SNAP or other food assistance programs. No one who is hungry or in need is ever turned away.

  • You are welcome to visit every week we are open. Our pantry is open Thursdays from 1–3 p.m., and we distribute food 51 weeks each year, closing only on Thanksgiving Day.

  • We are happy to connect you with other helpful resources and social service organizations in Pitt County that may be able to assist with additional needs, or you can call 211 for additional assistance and information about services in your area.

  • No identification is required. If you have them, you may want to bring your own bags to carry groceries.

  • You can support Feed Your Neighbor by donating, volunteering, or attending community events like our annual Stone Soup fundraiser. Every act of kindness helps us care for our neighbors.
